Packing your box
How we recommend packing and shipping the used child apparel and adult fashionsFirst: Wash clothing with a good brand of soap. Use stain remover if needed.
Second: Make sure they are fully dried before folding and packing in box.
Third: Weigh the box or boxes on a scale. (The scale you use to weigh yourself will be ok)
Package Dimensions:
Length Width Height
Fourth: Contact your email partner and inform them about how much the box or boxes weigh and Package Dimensions:
Length Width Height.
Ask them for their valid mailing address to send the box C.O.D. (Don't forget the zip code) and tell them your mailing address so you can track the box if shipping is delayed. Discuss between each other how and what shipping company to use and the estimated delivery time.
Fifth: Contact us when you receive the box. We would like to hear about your success stories and making a new friend. Bonhomie....

How this Swap by Elite Members Works
Guildlines and Policy Regarding Adding your request, donation or swap:
Please read our policy below.
All elitemembers are to read and agree to our policy to ensure this program runs correctly. We are not harsh but
trying to help all families involved in this cost saving program for their children.
1. Do not ask for clothing for re-sale purposes! If you are found to be doing this and are thinking about setting up a clothing shop forget it! This is
considered selling used clothing accepted from this program for purposes of making a profit - you will be
banned!
2. All members are required to pay for the shipping fees - no if and's or butts!
3. Ship clothing that is clean and wearable.
Do not send stained clothing or torn clothing. (Ship
what you would like to accept)
4. If you have gently used clothing laying around house please donate to the other members. Post it in the correct size forum. In due time you will be getting donated clothing too. You must post at the
swap forum if you want the others to know what you need. So Please say it and post it!
5. If you have a problem with any of the above with another elite member - contact Swaphandmedowns asap so we can send over the dispute to our panel.
Do not feel you need to keep it quite to avoid hurting someones feelings. If someone is abusing the program then we need to know about it!
Members don't forget to leave your email in message posts &/or swap emails so others can contact you quickly!
Attn: Please discusss with other member the estimate fee for shipping the box. Please try to pay the shipping fees by Pay Pal.com to get the boxes moving faster. The C.O.D payment method holds up the shipping schedule for other families waiting in line and there is extra c.o.d fee tacked on. Also try to ship boxes the cheapest way possible such as regular ground. Also make sure to have the boxed signed for at delivery time and look into a small fee to insure it in case it get lost or stolen. UPS provides free insuance under $100.00 Thanks

Guildlines:
1. Enter what clothing size's you have available at home for another family to accept from you C.O.D.
2. Enter What size boy or girl you need for your children or yourself.
3. Add your Name & e-mail contact address in "Private Member's" only room so other's may contact you regarding a transaction.
4. Remember the receiver agress to pay the shipping charge to accept the free used clothing. If you like to prepay your giver of the clothes ask them if that is ok (saves the c.o.d. fee). You might want to discuss the small fee to insure the items.
How to start by packing the box for estimated shipping fees to pre pay to other member: The members are all willing to help the new members with the shipping payment and shipping method!
5. Please reply to post regarding which person and item you have contacted. This will avoid spamming other members by emailing them for the same item that you did.
6. Remember some parents have nothing to swap in so please help them with clothing too. There is no reason to worry that you are giving out and not receiving any because sooner or later your size's needed will be available. It will all work out for ALL OF YOU in the long run.
7. If someone ships you something that does not fit - do not ship it back to them unless they agree that they want you to. (Remember you can always give it to a neighbor or family member.)

Protect your passwords.
No hurting someone's feelings
No cutting and pasting what is said in the "Private Members" only rooms or in other rooms at this community board.
No mention on other websites or emails what is said in this board.
You may opt out of the program at anytime. If you email me this information the Password to get into the Private Members only rooms will be change at first notice. You will not be allowed back into the board. You will not be allowed any refunds of membership charges since I have many hours and costs put into this site and the home page site to help you with free clothing.
Any member found to be abusing this membership in any way will be banned from using the board. I am very serious about protecting my members with their privacy and well being!
